Athletics is a sport that all children of all
abilities can compete in. It offers a wide range of events from running,
walking, throwing and jumping. The best thing about Athletics is that not
only can you compete against other athletes, you can also compete against your
own times and distances, personal bests are the things to aim for.
Gosnells & Districts L.A.C. is in its 38th season this year with the commencement of the 2009-10 season. Many things have changed in that time, including the centre changing venues from Mills Park in Beckenham, to the addition of U/16 and U/17 age groups and also the more recent acquisition of the electronic timing system on straight track.
We hope that you all enjoy your time at Gosnells and Districts and have a fun and rewarding season. Remember that you can achieve whatever you desire if you put your mind to it
